We also provide the Principal Designer role under H&S CDM Regulations.
We offer complete flexibility over our design services to provide either full or partial design, including master planning, conceptual design, detailed/construction information and contract administration for onsite works.
1. Architectural Residential Services
We have over twenty years of professional experience as architects and can deliver a highly personal service with the client at the centre to bring your ideal property into reality. Designing living spaces from residential homes to apartment complexes requires excellent dialogue and customer service, and we excel in both, providing expert project management through the entire process.
2. Architectural Commercial Services
We are the ideal firm if you need an adaptable and flexible architect specialising in commercial building design and planning in Solihull and Knowle. Our expertise and knowledge in commercial architecture projects, such as multiple housing developments, office spaces, leisure facilities and retail outlets, are unmatched.
3. Health & Safety Principal Designer
Under the current ‘Construction (Design & Management)’ (CDM) regulations 2015, it is often the case that a Principal Designer will need to be appointed by the client to fulfil the legal H&S requirements. A Principal Designer is required to plan, manage and coordinate the pre-construction planning and design work relating to health and safety. Harper Architects can offer this additional service to our client base if needed.
4. Green Belt Experience
It can be notoriously difficult and time-consuming to obtain planning permission on Green Belt land. Still, we have a vast background in developing robust planning applications that emphasise the sustainable nature of our innovative and inspirational designs that adopt a sensitive design solution within their green belt setting. Green belt planning policy is vast and needs to be carefully strategised from the start of a project. Harper Architects have a proven track record for obtaining planning approval within the Green Belt.
