For O’Brien Contractors Ltd

Working directly for O’Brien Contractors, Harper Architects was engaged as part of RIBA Stage 4 works to provide a package of information for building regulation compliance. The scheme had already achieved planning permission by others as part of earlier works. The proposals were for a new welfare building which formed part of wider landscaping / groundworks being carried out by O’Brien Contractors including carparking and outdoor synthetic sports pitches at the Joseph Chamberlain College, Birmingham.

Harper Architects provided Building Control drawings/information and building specification for the single storey standalone welfare and storage building. This enabled the project to achieve building control compliance and clearly defined the design intent that other consultant disciplines and sub-contractors could work from and base their information off.
